About the Show
IT'S SHOWTIME
Based on Tim Burton's beloved 1988 film, Beetlejuice the Musical is a darkly comic, wildly inventive show that's taken Broadway and the West End by storm. It follows Lydia Deetz — a goth teenager whose new house is haunted by a recently-deceased couple — and the chaotic demon she summons to help her.
Packed with outrageous humour, spectacular staging, and a soundtrack that swings from pop to punk, it's one of the most talked-about musicals of the decade. Brisbane's season at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC opens 7 June 2026.

On Foot — 2 Minutes
Exit Poppies onto Little Stanley Street, turn right toward Melbourne Street, then right again toward QPAC. The Lyric Theatre entrance is clearly signed.

We recommend arriving at Poppies by 5:30–6:00 PM for a 7:30 PM curtain. That gives you a relaxed 90 minutes to enjoy cocktails, starters, and mains without feeling rushed. We'll have you out the door and at the theatre with time to spare.
