Poppies has been doing exactly that on Little Stanley Street since 2014. We're open early, we serve the full brunch menu all day, and we don't make you queue on the footpath for 45 minutes to get a table.
South Bank is the right neighbourhood for it — five minutes from the Parklands, a short walk from QPAC and GOMA, and on one of Brisbane's best streets for a long, slow morning.

What to order at brunch
The eggs benedict is the one people come back for — house-made hollandaise, proper poached eggs, and enough variation on the base to keep it interesting. The smashed avo is done without the ceremony. The granola is made in-house. The French toast is the kind that makes you order a second coffee just to have a reason to stay.
